Mason Grigsby

As a Consultant, Mason Grigsby specializes in enterprise content & knowledge management-based customer service strategies that integrate information portals, legacy data, internet bill presentment and payment, customer relationship management and business intelligence systems. He has significant experience in negotiating strategic partnerships in this industry. IBM, Kodak, Bell & Howell, Unisys Corporation, Canon USA, Philips Corporation and Tab Products Company are representative of the corporate OEM relationships that he has negotiated.

He co-founded two companies, which developed enterprise content management software and turnkey solutions. He is credited with the development of the first commercially available turnkey document image system in 1983 and the first turnkey Computer/Output to Laser Disk system in 1986. The software, which he pioneered, helped launch what is now the electronic document industry. One of the early systems that he conceived won the first annual Computerworld/Smithsonian award for innovative business technology and is on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
